About the Poem

This is a poem about how I feel when I write poems in my journal.

Never…Never…

Quiet
as quiet as a desert night
I weave a tapestry, words in my journal.
I'm surrounded by things I love
Posters, pictures and animals cover my naked asylum
Semi-dark room full of vivid colors.
My dogs stare up at me while I conduct a
symphony of words on paper.
Words are my love and my passion.
My thoughts, which are words,
Fly out to you like lightning,
Emotional ignitions along the paper.
When I'm in my room
I feel higher than heaven's holy angels.
I keep my emotions
Locked up inside my journals.
Like a haunting melody that lingers long after -
Never to be forgotten
Never...Never...

Wonderful!!
Ammon
This poem is very descriptive. I can just see her pouring out her emotions on paper. I really enjoyed this one!
