Wistful Sorrows |
by Laura Mason |
Don't hold them back, Those bitter-sweet tears, The past you cannot change. Don't linger with regret, On the foreboding future or, The devil your soul will claim. Emotions are free like, Wild animals that can't, Be captured or ever be chained. Thought and wishes are plentiful now, Happiness cannot be feigned. You loved once, And you'll love again, But you'll ache deep inside, For that loving you once dreamed of, Those wistful sorrows you cannot hide. From mother and daughter is, Loving completely, A bond especially made. By nature's own hand was love given out, That bond forever will stay. |
