About the Poem

I was in an car accident on Nov. 12 1998. My two best friends were in the car also. I was not driving. but both of my friends were killed. The other driver was killed also. I was the only one that survived the accident.

These two friends mean a lot to me and I miss them dearly.

Sorrowful Heart

My heart is filled with sorrow
The future we planned is shattered
I lost both of you
in a matter of days
All because of an accident in which
the cause is such a haze.
I am left from the accident all alone
with a reason that is unknown.
I miss you so much
I wish you could come back

I only wish there were a way
to bring you both back to me.
But I know that in this life
that will never be.

Amanda, I know how you feel because I lost two of my best friends in a car accident. I wished for them to come back too but I said to myself I will see them again in Heaven. This poem is a very emotional and touching poem. Continue to write poems because you are very good. Who knows you might become famouse one day. Bye Bye and Great Job!

tThe poems is so touching. I like the diction, it's so clear and simple.
