About the Poem
When someone you love dies, it's hard to deal with the pain. I had a very depressing experience of that sort. I was to the point of insanity, but with the help of my very best friends I was okay. This poem is about finding out your loved one is gone, and learning how to deal with the pain.
Mourning |

She ran home Crying in the rain Mournful from the pain Except for the fear Eating at her Until she went insane Caring people at her side Hiding her fear With every year she felt better Having overcome her fear No more screaming Just soft pantings in her head In losing someone, she lost it all Not knowing the sad little noises she makes Going on the hope that's left Someone must tell her |

I must thank you for this poem. It touches my aching heart. You see, I lost my mother on Dec 12, 2005 and I can't seem to find my way to being alright. Reading your poem helps me know that there is nothing wrong with me. I guess like it says, we recover in our own time. Thank you again.
