About the Poem
This is dedicated to the job in life I take most serious and gain the most satisfaction from. Being a mom! I love you Sophia! Born 12/24/98!

Beautiful, perfect baby. I can’t believe you're mine. It’s as if I’m living in a dream. With reality sublime. I pinch my arm, I am awake. You look at me with peace. I hope how much I love you, Is written across my face. I couldn’t ask for better. With perfection sitting near. I look at you and wonder. What’s in store the next year. I hope to bring you happiness. To take away your fears. I want to be your mommy. To wipe away your tears. I promise I will try To do the best for you. To make the right decisions And always help you through. But please do understand My wisdom is but small. I’ll take the role of mommy And always stand up tall. |
