About the Poem
This is to the very special person who has affected my life in so many ways. That person would be my wonderful son. Although he is only four, he has changed my world for the better and I thank him for that.
Our Little Boy |

Do you Hear, What is so Near? Those happy little Feet, Who Never miss A Beat. The Happy Joy, Of our little Boy. Who's silly Laugh, Makes us Whole Not Half. And Then at Night, When He's tucked in Tight. Will he ever Know, How much We Love Him So? |

Short and sweet. It is an incredibly nice poem. Intriguing as well. We all want to know what is in his little head, when he waves to us, when he smiles, when he makes sounds.

To some, the words may be simplistic and far from meaningful, but for MOTHERS who have children and who have gone through tough times with their children (my son has a problem which necessitates regular hospital visits), this poem brings me to tears. Sometimes it's hard to bring our inner feelings out into words, so reading this makes me feel like somebody read my mind and wrote it for me. Thank you.

As the mother of two young boys(ages 5 and 2), this poem says it perfectly. I sat and cried; it's beautiful!
