Happily Ever After Not |
by Pauline Hamblin |
As we rode off in the sunset. Our horse threw a shoe. Out here in the desert. What are we to do? After we moved in. To our castle dear. The door fell off, the roof caved in. Robbing all our cheer. Buying our new car. Filled us with such pride. Brakes went out, floor fell through. I sat down and cried. Learning how to cook. I burnt down the house. Angry words were said that day. I discovered you're a louse. Standing in the courtroom. The judge said to me. I will give you what you seek. Divorce it will be. |
