About the Poem
I live on the edge of the ocean in Northern California, a very beautiful place. My favorite time of the year is Winter, when the storms batter the land. On rainy days, I love to sit watching through the window at the passing scene and record my feelings.

Across the headlands The forest masses Under gray skies And mist Into a solid wall Of muted gray Through which cars Glide skirting noiselessly The rocky edge. Through a window I watch, windows are For watching - Square pieces of life Ever changing. |

My uncle, an actor, an artist, painting a picture with words on paper rather than a picture on canvas. His artistry is just as beautiful as his poetry. This man has a lot of talent.

I think this is well written.

Beautiful poem. I have been there and could picture the setting. Hoping to see more from this poet.
