About the Poem

I think everyone in the world can relate to this poem, especially when you develop a crush or find that first real love.

Whenever I See You

Whenever I see you
My heart begins to jump.
I don't know what to say or do.
All that's in my throat
Is a great big lump.

You always catch me
By surprise.
I'm always acting strange,
Or looking at some other guys.

I wish you could see inside
Of me, deep down,
And find the person I
Really am...The one I
Always seem to hide.

I'm really not what you think
You see.
I can be calm and civil,
If I want to be.

Just give me a chance
And over look all my strange
Little acts.
It's just a phase
I go through....
Whenever I see you.

I really like that poem. I feel that way about this boy named brandon but I just can't seem to get him to notice. I dunno-maybe I'll try again. But that was a good poem.
