About the Poem
I'm a older student. I'm 43. In the past year, I've fallen in love with a man that I met in a chat room. We've gotten very close and most of my poetry is for and about him.
This is a poem about the joy of sharing time and love with someone special.
The Night |
by Welshwitch |
Laying here next to you Watching you sleep. You're breathing so soft. My fingers trace The line of your jaw. You stir a little. I softly kiss your mouth. The kiss becomes a smile As your fingers Run through my hair. Sharing the last glass of wine. One arm around me The other reaching for the light. |
