About the Poem

I met a girl name Lyshell when I was 17 and living in Idaho on my own. Two weeks after I met her, I had to move back to California.

I left Idaho . . . and forgot to say "I love You. "

Lyshell

This time, I looked at the stars,
But different, they're all flares,
All but once . . .

I traveled in name of dreams,
Divine love, and shattered dreams.
Lookout for only the bright light,
and the stars are so far away,
and it seems, I'm here to stay.
I know you, and you I wanted.
Eyes so beautiful, do I need to travel so far?
Just to see the stars?
I have a full moon in your eyes.
Voice so sweet, do I need to turn on the radio?
Your voice is like symphony of love.
And your lips, I've kissed,
and felt the warmth in my heart.
To leave all these behind . . .
I can not bare to, but I had to,
and I miss you so.
Love may come many,
but not your sweet lips.
But you left me, and I left you . . .
Inner beauty . . . and Morning Glory.
