About the Poem

I met my wife at work years ago. We were so young. I must admit, I fell for her at first sight.

One night when no one was looking I put my hands on her shoulders and gave her a kiss. I was so embarrassed at what I had done. But later she came back, and returned the kiss. The rest is . . . well, she's still mine. Love you darling.

Kisses

Darling, I just woke from my sleep.

I turned over and saw you lying beside me. I whispered, "I Love you".
As I stare out our window and into the night, visions of yesterday
are filling my sight.

Time has played its game on us, weeks and years have sped by so fast.

Darling, remember our first kiss? I stole it from you,
in a moment of bliss.

As I stare at the stars tonight, and memories of you swirl in my mind.
I want you to know how proud I am, t
hat you are my Love my wife and my Mrs.
Thank you darling, for no empty kisses.
