About the Poem

Everyone feels lost occasionally, and sometimes the only things you can use to find yourself are your memories.

Paradox

In a changing stasis,
my own paradox,
I sit around unmoving,
lost in my own thoughts.

Times that have passed,
Things yet unseen,
I travel through the shadows
lost, somewhere in between.

I view far off places,
yet nothing do I gain,
I look back upon my life,
and I remember pain.
