About the Poem

What do you do when you think love is leaving and there is nothing but pain????

My Soul

My soul is full of anguish
The pain has become unreal
Just wish that I could end it
I cannot survive the way I feel.

Why don't you take
A long sharp knife,
Stab it thru my heart...
And quickly end my life?

Life is not worth living
Without you by my side.
There would be no more secrets
That you would have to hide.

Death would be a comfort
The horrible pain would end
The angels would be waiting
To help me round the bend.

This poem really touched me because it's how I feel at the moment. Every word related to the way I feel and what I want. I'm going through really hard times in my relationship with a man I really love. he's my first and it's been 8mo. Your poem is really great and I'm glad I was able to find it and read it.
