About the Poem

A poem about my ex- girlfriend, whose actions still haunt my thoughts. This started out as a magnetic poetry poem, but I didn't have enough words, so I just finished it on paper.

Ode To The Source Of My Pain

a love like this
dark . . . and . . . secret
only dying, never growing
winter of my death.

blossoming tendrils
crack the glass;
and crystal tear shatters
obituary of my heart.

she is . . .
mind achingly beautiful
heartbreakingly cruel
why . . . ?
