About the Poem

I can't say enough about the pain of deceit. It renders the soul and rips through ones heart

Broken And Shattered Promises

You told me that you loved me
It seemed easy for you to say
But you failed to prove it
The first time temptation
Came your way

You told me we would last forever
And I believed your words were true
But the words that you had spoken
Seemed to have been forgotten by you.

This is exactly what happened to me. the 1st temptation was all it took and the promises of us and forever became nothing near reality.
Dreamer
