About the Poem

This poem is for all those who have loved someone only to have lost them and the pain of it all.

Cruel Love

I died today and you didn't care
you never looked back how could
you say that you cared

For all that I gave this is what
I get, you took my heart and destroyed it

When all my pleasures turned to
pain, I built a wall made out of shame

My world came crumbling down
because of you, but what hurts
the most is I believed you would be true.

Your poem is great, it explains why fantasy is better than reality, except when it all comes crumbling down.
