About the Poem

This poem is about Pia, a girl who cheated on me. I wrote it around one year after she pushed me away with her game. It's just really hard to believe that something like that could happen to you. It did to me and the poem is about that. After everything, I still love her.

I Still Love You

You are still in my brain
You're causing so much pain
I still can't believe
You used my feelings
For your foolish game
Named love

Held you close in my arms
Felt so nice and warm
I gave you my love
I gave you my heart
I gave you all I had
got nothing back except
Pain that's driving me insane

You are still in my heart
My love for you will never die
My thoughts will always be with you
And the pain I feel inside will always
Remind me of someone I still love

Thank you all for your comments. Today I just googled for some poems and I fell out of my seat as I found some of my poems on this webpage. My webpage went down years ago, without my notice. This poem has touched me so much. all this happened to me this week and its soso bad that I have been driven to typing in searching for things to do about people who play you on google. its awful. I can't believe that something that seemed so real, so good has just been dismissed by this guy hu thinks he can just forget everything that ever happened. its not right, and I hope someday he might realise what he's playin at. he's a fool, so if this happens to you then just. forget them they arnt worht it even tho yur still in love with them. believe me i speak from the experience of being messed around constantly. excellent poem i mussst say well done!

My girlfriend (now -ex) has been cheating on me for about 3months. Of course she swears that he is only a friend and that catching them sleeping at each others houses doesn't mean anything. Anyways, this poem depicts some of my feelings and I like it.
