About the Poem

It was such a peacefull day this poem practicaly formed on it`s own, I had to keep repeating it to myself, for over half an hour, untill I could get to a pen.

Hope you enjoy the poem as much as I enjoyed that day.

The Lost Loon

The loon a mystical bird,
So full of pride and grace.
Who would think to find,
Such magic in this place

Living near the water,
And flying with ease.
Floating along,
Gliding on the breaze.

Now look at the water,
That flows within our lake.
To forget this place,
Would be a grave mistake.

Who of all animals,
From afar and near,
But the loon,
Would belong here?

Now if you will,
Take the time to dream and see.
With the loon here,
Just how magical it would be.

Think of this lake,
Reflecting our full moon.
And if you look real close,
You`ll see you`ve found the lost loon.
