About the Poem
The title says it all.. Two souls, together forever, throughout the ages..
Soulmates |
by Agnes Nogal |
Two minds together as one From the beginning of day Until the night is done. Knowing the other like oneself, Connected in the mind today and forever, Loving the other completely And ceasing to love never. A soulmate that is. A mile or thousands of miles May separate with distance Longer than is the Nile But no matter how far your soulmate is, You are close and together in the heart; In tune and close are the spirits, "'Til death do us part." A soulmate that is. |

Very Beautiful! This poem inspired me and my long distance love!

I recently met someone whom I had an instant connection with. I couldn't quite explain the affinity we had for each other until, not 1 but 2 psychics, revealed to me this man is my soulmate. I am in Salinas, CA and he is in Houston, TX. The time is not right now for us to be together, but the poem gives me comfort that we will eventually be one in the end, if not in this lifetime.

Beautiful. "But no matter how far your soulmate is, You are close and together in the heart;" Truer words were never spoken.

I can relate to this poem. I met a man who completly made me rethink my future. I am completly in love with him but we can't be together right now. We connected on every level and talk everyday. We can talk for hours about anything and everything. I never could open up completly with any man but he found his way into my heart and our souls are connected. This is a beautiful poem.

The poem touched my heart. I also have written some poems about and for my soulmate. I have not seen him in 2 years but I feel as bonded to him as ever. He had a lot of pain and heartache to go through and I felt every bit of it. I feel that God brought us together in spirit to help each other heal. Someday if it is God's will, we will also be together in the physical as I know that we are twin flames. love and light Connie

There is nothing more true than this poem. The love of my life and I are no longer together, it was too hard, but the love bond is stronger than ever and I know he feels the same. He is in Alaska and I the other side of the earth, I have met others, but now I realise he is half of me and always will be until the end. Perhaps one day, we will resolve this and find a way in this lifetime - I will give it my all.

I really enjoyed this poem. I met my soulmate in Austin, TX and I am from Vancouver, Canada. It turns out we both have daughters that are called Brianne and born on the same day and year. Sad thing is that his daughter only lived two days as she was not fully developed. What led us to our meeting was on the same day his Mom passed from Cancer, I started my resolution to becomimg a Fitness Competitor which led me to my trainer in Austin who has introduced me to my one and only true love. We believe his Mom is also involved in this chance meeting.

Soulmates. such a strong word and such a strong bond. I know. I tried to run away from my soulmate and it didn't work! I was so confused. I know now that the ties that bind truly come from God. I am exactly where I am suppose to be. Great poem. Thanks!

It is very rare, but it does exist. We know it is exists, that we at some point in our lives, we strive to find our soul mate. It is not idealistic, but it is lofty. it takes deep soul searching to be a soul mate. this is why most never find it, because it begins within. and it is very painful to face your own demons.

I really love this poem! People tend to think that "soulmates" and the perfection of this love is too idealistic and can only exist in fantasies, but I have experienced exactly what Nogal have described in the poem. This is a beautiful poem. Thankyou Agnes.
Beth
That is total how I feel about my boyfriend. Thank you for writting this poem.

I can relate to this poem. The one I love with all my heart and soul, lives in MN wile I live in TX. I met her online, on a game of all things, and I feel close to her and we have faith in eachother and in the love we share. I would give up just about anything for a moment with her, even if it were a second. Some say a long distant relationship is not worth getting into, or can't work out.Well it is worth it all if you find the right person, they can make you happier then anyone else could ever make you feel. I really like this poem

OH, I loved this poem when I read it! I can relate in regards to the separation factor of a relationship..I met my soulmate, Terry, 2 weeks ago, and I live in Baltimore, and he lives in St. Louis...over 800 miles away!! :-( But, we have faith in our love, and that one day, we will be together forever!! :-))

I know exactly what you are feeling. I have been separated from my soulmate, and we have since be brought back together. It is true that no matter how far apart your soulmate it they are never out of your heart. You hit every emotion that I felt. I enjoyed reading this because of its simple straightforward, commonly felt message. Great Job!
