About the Poem

Written for my Half-side on one of our anniversaries.

Through The Times We've Shared

Time has passed through the times we've shared.
Whispered in our ears and our hearts,
Emptied ourselves and refilled us to overflowing.

No, our lives have not been perfect,
There have been cross words and bitter tears;
But through it all our love endured.

Time has passed through the times we've shared.
Healed the broken hearts, renewed the shattered dreams.
Endured the bad times, enjoyed the good times.

Yes, time has passed through the times we've shared.
Evolved from friendship to love, aspiring to heights undreamed.
Remembered, relived, reloved and made strong.
Surviving time through the times we've shared.

This poem is wonderful, it really touches my wife and I, it's so near to what we've been through, I'm going to present it to her on our anniversary. Thanks

This poem touches on a relationship I have with a woman, never lovers in the physical way, but we truly ove each other. Perhaps someday, we can experience the joy of intimacy with each other.
