About the Poem
This is a poem I wrote for my husband, about a woman's need to feel appreciated and adored!
The Kiss |
by Leigh Anne Dawson |
Wanting to be held, loved, adored - To be kissed Like lovers on a movie screen. Needing the reassurance, Those feelings of bliss . . . That can only be evoked By the passion of such a kiss. To feel the epitome of love, Not from words but a touch, Those butterflies in my stomach And those small cold chill bumps. So hold me, and kiss me, Show me once more What feelings are evoked in you When near the one you adore. |

This poem was very touching, I understood what the author was saying. Though i'm a guy, i still feel that reassurance of love by someone you adore is a great key to an awesome relationship.
