About the Poem
This poem draws a comparison between the growing process of a flower, and the growing process of love.
From Where The Flower Grows |
by Christopher Sando |
I've planted a seed with such tender care. But, as with the weeping willow, I, too, cried because you weren't there. So, I've planted, and watered, and waited, in such sweet repose, For the nurturing rains and for the flower of my life from where the flower grows. As with the budding rose, so, too, our love grows; nurtured by the rains of our tears, and the sunshine of love. Yes, love is, in every way, the budding fragrance from where our flower grows. |
