About the Poem

Everyone needs to be loved, even Medusa. Medusa Bleeds is all about knowing that real beauty lives WITHIN. Don't pass up the possibility of getting to know someone on looks alone. Through life experience I have learned that what makes a person cannot be seen, but rather felt inside. Look within!

Medusa Bleeds

She’s alone,
so I feel that she’s afraid.
Turned to stone,
all of those who look her way.

Could it be,
that nobody understands?
Could it be,
that she only needs a friend?

Medusa bleeds, and no one is ever there.
She bleeds, and there’s not a soul who cares.
Medusa bleeds.

She’s afraid,
and so I feel that she’s alone.
Look away,
or forever live in stone.

Could it be,
that no one really knows?
Could it be,
there is more than that which shows?

Medusa bleeds, and no one is ever there.
She bleeds, and there’s not a soul who cares.
Medusa bleeds.

Could it be, could it be,
that all she needs is just a friend.
Medusa bleeds,
and she will bleed until the end.

Medusa bleeds, and no one is ever there.
She bleeds, and there’s not a soul who cares.
Medusa bleeds.

Could it be, could it be,
Medusa’s bleeding for a friend.

Your poem has a lot of meaning and it's true. so often people are judged on what's on the outside only. good job:)
